Battery cases for e-scooters and kick scooters
On a scooter the deck sets the thickness budget, not the frame — which is why the slimmest format in the range, not the largest, is usually the answer.
Who this is for: Scooter brands and pack builders working on standing decks, seated three-wheelers and last-mile fleets.
What this build actually constrains
Deck clearance is the hard limit
A standing scooter has no frame triangle to hide a pack in. Whatever you mount sits under a deck or on a stem, and both are shallow.
Nothing to bolt a downtube case to
Downtube moulds assume a frame tube at a known angle. A scooter deck has no tube there, so the bracket has nothing to grip.
Small packs, fast swaps
A 36 V or 48 V scooter pack is usually 10S4P to 13S4P. Fleets care more about how fast a pack comes off than how many cells it holds.
What we would put on this build
- Silver Fish — 23 models, up to 130 cells on 18650 and 91 on 21700.
- Water Bottle — 2 models, up to 52 cells on 18650 and 20 on 21700.
- Rear Rack — 15 models, up to 104 cells on 18650 and 80 on 21700.
Downtube
A downtube case needs a downtube. On a standing scooter there is no frame tube at the angle those mounts assume, so the bracket has nothing to hold.

Questions we get about this build
What battery case fits an electric scooter?
Can I use an e-bike battery case on a scooter?
Send us the build and we will say which format works
Frame envelope, cell type, series and parallel count is all we need. If the answer is that none of our moulds fit and it needs a new one, we will say that rather than sell you the nearest thing.
