About this series

Why do assemblers choose an Integrated case?

21 Integrated models across 36 V – 72 V systems, on 18650 and 21700 cells — empty shells, MOQ one piece. Hidden housings that sit inside the down-tube, plus conversion kits with aluminium-alloy reinforcement.

Integrated housings disappear into the frame. There is no visible case on the down-tube — the pack is inserted through an opening and closed with a cover that matches the frame line. The format is used mostly on folding bikes, where the housing folds with the frame, and increasingly on premium and city e-bikes where the silhouette stays clean.

Because the housing geometry has to match the frame, most of this range is made to a custom internal envelope. Send the frame drawing or the space you have and we will confirm whether a current model fits or whether we open a mould.

Aluminium alloy and aluminium-reinforced ABS/PC constructions are used here rather than plain plastic, because an in-frame housing carries structural loads the external cases do not.

Also known as: buyers also call these internal, hidden or semi-integrated battery cases. Catalogue names vary — the frame opening is what decides the fit, so send the envelope drawing and we will confirm it the same day.

Which mounting format fits your frame instead?

Six mountings, six jobs: Hailong and Silver Fish dock on the down-tube, integrated moulds into the frame, downtube suits standard tubes, rear rack carries cargo, and water bottle fits small packs. Choose by frame first, then by cell count.

Hailong Battery Cases

The universal fitment. Waterproof ABS and PC+ABS shells with key lock, cable exit and mounting kit options, sized for 18650 or 21700 packs.

Silver Fish Battery Cases

Tapered shells that slide into a frame or seat-post carrier — the retrofit standard for folding bikes, mountain frames and conversion builds.

Downtube Battery Cases

Bolt-on housings that mount above or below the down-tube, taking 18650 packs to 104 cells. The largest family we hold tooling for.

Rear Rack Battery Cases

Flat rack-mounted housings for cargo, delivery and long-tail builds — to 104 cells, without widening the bike.

How many cells fit in an Integrated battery case?
Across our 21 Integrated housings the largest mould takes 78 cells on 18650 and 56 on 21700 — the same mould physically holds fewer of the fatter 21700 format. Cell count per model is listed on each product page.
What voltages do Integrated cases cover?
Across the 21 models the range spans 36 V to 72 V. Voltage follows the cell count you build to — 10S is 36 V, 13S is 48 V, 14S is 52 V — so pick the case by cells, not by the label voltage.
Can I order a single Integrated case?
Yes — MOQ is one piece on every model in this series, quoted within five hours. Single-piece orders ship from stock for the common moulds; rare configurations are moulded to order.
Will an integrated case fit my frame?
Only if the frame was built for it — this format is moulded to a specific down-tube envelope. Send us the internal dimensions of your frame and we check the fit against the mould before you order.
